Jay A. Michelsen
I was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2013 and to the Nebraska State Bar in 2015. My educational background includes a Bachelor of General Studies (B.A.S.) from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 1982, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Texas A&M University School of Law in May 2013. My professional experience includes serving as a Public Defender in Adams County, Nebraska from 2015 to 2017, and as a Deputy County Attorney from 2017 to 2018. I was a member of the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association from 2015 to 2017 and the Nebraska County Attorney’s Association from 2017 to 2018. Currently, I am a member of the Texas State Bar, Nebraska State Bar, and Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
